On-the-Spot Essay Competition

The District Legal Services Authority, Lunglei District, in collaboration with IQAC, Higher and Technical Institute Mizoram (HATIM), organized an On-the-Spot Essay Competition on 5th February 2025 at the Conference Hall, HATIM.
This event was part of a special campaign on “Public Education on Environment Protection & Conservation Laws, Climate Crisis, and Sustainable Practices.”
The competition focused on the theme “Solid Waste Management: The Most Practical and Sustainable System for My Village.” A total of 41 participants from various departments took part, showcasing their knowledge and perspectives on sustainable waste management practices tailored to their local communities.
The event provided a platform for students to engage critically with environmental issues and propose practical solutions. It also aimed to raise awareness about the importance of responsible waste management and sustainable practices.
